I fell in love with looking at life through a camera lens after taking my first photography class in high school. My parents bought me a camera for Christmas that same year and well, my journey began! I constantly begged family to let me take photos of them (not much has changed!). That was back in the days of film, gray cards darkroom developing. I took several photography classes alongside my education ones; worked for LifeTouch as a studio photographer while in college and started on my own shortly after.

I taught Kindergarten for 11 years and am now a stay at home mom. On most days, I'm wearing leggings, playing hide and seek, rescuing laundry that has been dumped on the floor because I didn't fold and put away fast enough or sneaking in the bathroom to get a moment alone to eat chocolate undisturbed. Kids have always been my life. I enjoy singing, playing piano, taking walks with my fam and meeting new people. The perfect relaxing situation for me involves a book, a hammock or blanket, cup of tea (or wine) and spring weather.

Although I've been shooting photos for several years, as a mom, I now have a different perspective of capturing moments that quickly become treasured memories. Our kids grow and change faster than we are ready. Our lives are constantly changing with the seasons, our families look different every year and we need photos to help us remember the all magical moments we create.
